My path has taken me from small classrooms in Slovenia to global conferences like AIA, Botanica, and Conaroma, from designing national qualifications to teaching at Maharishi International University and VIST College, and from local training programs to consulting for companies like L’Occitane and Melvita.
Through all of it, I noticed something consistent:
Aromatherapists weren’t missing passion — they were drowning in information. And no one had ever taught us how to connect the dots between chemistry, scent, and practice in a way that felt simple and true.
So I started drawing — pie charts, colors, and patterns — to turn invisible data into something you could actually see and use.
Those sketches became Essential Oil Architecture™, and eventually, The Melani Method™ — the system that bridges science with scent, structure with soul.
